Bangalore is an IT hub and attracts people from all around the country. In such a case, there is a high demand of construction to be done in order to provide living spaces for the people to reside in. along with these arise the needs of daily requirements, social spaces, commercial spaces. As construction is done, vast patches of land are cleared up which were mostly forests.
As this continues to happen, over a period of time, depletion of green cover starts to effect the human population. Diseases start effecting people, due to lack of green cover and proper healthy levels of oxygen, the human race is the first to get effected.
As human beings, we put our needs as the primary desire. What happens in such a quest is that man becomes selfish to his requirements and take nature for granted, not realizing that depleting nature’s cover is only going to lead to natural disasters, which when occur are a trouble to face. One is not equipped enough to handle the outcomes of disaster, hence loss of life and property are faced.
It is important to realize, that cutting own the trees in order to fetch land for construction and then creating artificial indoor greens is no solution to anything. Primary are not human needs, the environment is primary, our needs must be held secondary
